Rhona's Diary...
For 3 years Rhona Damant shared with us the reality of being a mum with breast cancer through the pages of the East Anglian Daily Times.
Her words captured the imagination of thousands of readers as she took us on the roller-coaster of emotions that she and her family endured as her illness progressed.
Her weekly columns were collected together in a book which is sold in aid of Breakthrough breast cancer charity.
Her fame spread beyond East Anglia - Irish pop superstar Ronan Keating, who lost his mother to the disease, kindly wrote the foreword to the book, and dedicated a song to her in front of a crowd at Newmarket Racecourse, in front of 20,000 people.
Sadly Rhona died on Thursday 2nd November, aged 45.
I first met Rhona when she modelled some of our post mastectomy lingerie and eveningwear styles for us. She was, and will always be, an inspiration to everyone who met her.
I designed a nightdress for Rhona for her birthday, and the "Rhona" collection is available to order from this website.
50% of the purchase price of sales of the Rhona Nightwear collection throughout the year will be donated to Breakthrough.
